Sara Catherine Walsh is a multi-disciplinary artist living and working in Brooklyn, NY. Recent scenic designs include: Bach's Coffee Cantata and Kurt Weill's Down in the Valley (for NYU's Steinhardt School), Confidence Man with Woodshed Collective (on a boat in the Hudson River), Bird House (KNF Co. at The Mint) and Faye Driscoll's 837 Venice Blvd. (University Settlement and HERE Arts Center). Other favorite work includes the production design of the short film So She Fell Silent, and video design for Do Not Do This Ever Again (with help from Jeff Larson and Karinne Keithley). She also just finished re-designing the Bronx Zoo Children’s Zoo Theatre Space. Upcoming: Macbeth and Merchant of Venice at The Juilliard School, a tour of 837 Venice Blvd. in Florida, and Faye Driscoll's new work There is So Much Mad in Me at Dance Theatre Workshop.
